The company
- Category
- Education, animal experiences, and live science workshops.
- Audience
- Schools, nurseries, families, care settings, parties, festivals, and event organisers.
Wild Science brings mobile animal encounters and interactive science experiences to audiences across the UK.
Established in 2014, Wild Science delivers animal workshops, education programmes, science demonstrations, and hands-on experiences for schools, nurseries, parties, care settings, festivals, and events.
The brand has a distinctive dual offer: animal experiences and science workshops. That makes the website responsible for more than presentation. It has to explain the offer quickly, build trust, and help different audiences find the right service without friction.
Netdesignr has supported Wild Science since November 2022 across website, brand, SEO, content, maintenance, GEO citations and brand mentions, AEO, and paid media.
The challenge
- Core issue
- A broad offer needed to feel simple, trustworthy, and easy to book.
- Growth blocker
- Weak service hierarchy and SEO foundations were holding back qualified demand.
The previous digital foundation was limiting clarity, visibility, and enquiry growth.
Visitors found it difficult to distinguish between animal experiences and science workshops, move through the site efficiently, or understand how to book. The visual system also lacked the energy and cohesion of the real-world Wild Science experience.
The structure was holding back fast decision-making. For a school, parent, organiser, or care setting, the site needed to answer the practical questions quickly: what is available, who is it for, how does it work, and where do I book?
There was also no strong SEO foundation, which limited visibility and reduced the quality and volume of traffic arriving at the site. Before the new website and brand guidelines, enquiry volume was still happening in a weekly pattern rather than a reliable daily flow.
The solution
- Launch work
- Brand guidelines, service architecture, conversion copy, and a bespoke WordPress build.
- Ongoing work
- SEO, GEO, AEO, content updates, maintenance, and PPC support.
We launched a custom WordPress website, brand guidelines, and an ongoing growth programme.
The work started with research into user behaviour, service positioning, conversion blockers, and the gap between the online brand experience and the energy of the workshops themselves.
From there, we created a clearer structure: animal experiences and science workshops became distinct service pathways, above-the-fold messaging was sharpened, navigation was simplified, and contextual booking CTAs were placed throughout the journey.
The engagement moved in phases. In 2023, the immediate priority was stabilising the old website and improving performance enough for search visibility to start building. In early 2024, the focus shifted into brand guidelines, a new website, and a clearer conversion journey.
In June 2024, the new website and brand guidelines went live. On the technical side, the site was implemented as a bespoke WordPress theme with structured page templates, custom post types, and content architecture designed for scalability.
SEO was built into the foundation through keyword mapping, structured service pages, optimised metadata and headings, internal linking, and a content architecture that can grow over time.
The monthly service package has continued that work through 2025 and into May 2026, covering on-page and off-page SEO, GEO citations and brand mentions, AEO, content updates, website maintenance, and paid media support.
The results
- Impact
- Average enquiry volume increased by roughly seven times after launch.
- Operational gain
- The team gained a clearer CMS structure for content updates and ongoing optimisation.
After the new website and brand guidelines launched, enquiries increased from weekly to daily demand.
Wild Science moved from an inconsistent weekly enquiry pattern to a stronger, more reliable daily enquiry flow after the June 2024 launch, with average enquiry volume increasing by roughly seven times.
The final website makes the two core services immediately easier to understand. Visitors can recognise the right route, scan the offer, and move towards booking without needing to decode the whole business first.
The visual design now better reflects the fun, energetic, educational nature of Wild Science while staying controlled enough for parents, schools, and organisers to make practical decisions.
Behind the scenes, Wild Science has a more flexible CMS, stronger search structure, and a maintainable platform for content updates, technical fixes, PPC support, and ongoing optimisation.
Conclusion
- Partnership
- An ongoing relationship that started in November 2022 and continues to evolve.
- Direction
- Keep compounding the gains through search, content, PPC, and AI-assisted discovery.
This was not just a redesign. It was a growth foundation for a specialist education brand.
Wild Science already had a memorable service and a strong real-world experience. Our role was to turn that into a digital system that explains the offer clearly, supports search visibility, and gives the team room to keep evolving.
The increase in enquiries came after the website and brand guidelines were pushed live, then continued through the ongoing SEO, GEO, AEO, content, maintenance, and paid media support around the new foundation.
As of May 2026, the work has moved beyond the launch itself into a long-term growth programme: keeping the website healthy, improving search visibility, adapting content, supporting PPC, and preparing the brand for how people discover services through both search engines and AI-assisted answers.
